We Are In This Together

With all the information coming at us on the news, it’s only natural to feel overwhelmed and stressed, but there is no need to panic. The best thing you can do in a time of uncertainty is stay positive, relax, wash your hands and drink your water. Keeping your body healthy is actually a great way to boost your immune system and help fight any type of illness.  Getting a good night's rest, eating healthy food, drinking plenty of water, meditating, avoiding alcohol and smoking, and staying active are all great ways to help your body boost your immunity.

It’s important to know that the majority of people infected with the coronavirus experience flu-like symptoms and then recover. Most people don’t even develop serious respiratory complications. And you can rest assured that here at Downtown Dental, we take your health very seriously and will do everything in our power to keep you and our staff safe.

Taking care of ourselves and those around us is essential. The WHO recommends washing your hands frequently, covering your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, avoiding touching your face, and staying home if you feel ill

It’s also important to continue to connect with others during this time. While it's recommended to avoid large crowds, you can still connect with friends and loved ones through video chats, phone calls, texting, and email. It really helps to feel the strength of your connections to your friends and loved ones, even though you may not be with them in person.
